You can search for a record using first name or surname or town of employment or a Scottish Social Services Council registration number.
People working in social services might register with another regulator, for example the Nursing and Midwifery Council or the General Teaching Council of Scotland. There are also a number of other regulators covering social service and other health professionals outside Scotland.
Registered means the person is currently registered.Interim suspension means we have suspended the person's registration as a precaution under the SSSC (Conduct) Rules while we investigate.Suspended means we have suspended the person's registration under the SSSC (Conduct) Rules.Removed means we have removed a person from the Register following a decision under the SSSC (Conduct) Rules.
