Free event for workers engaging in improvement activity.
This workforce development day aims to bring together Scottish social service workers who are, or need to be, engaged in quality improvement. Input from the SSSC and others will help you increase your knowledge and understanding of learning activity to support improvement, and how to access this. You will hear from others who have completed some of the learning activity available to the sector, including how they are using their learning in practice. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to more detailed discussions on the development and use of practice guidance to support quality improvement.
By the end of the day, you will:
- be more aware of the learning available to support workers at different levels to use the Model for Improvement and associated tools and techniques
- hear from others about how they support improvement in their practice
- explore the need for other improvement learning resources for social service workers
- have considered how practice guidance can be used to support improvement activity and if further promotion or development of practice guidance is required.
We will provide lunch and refreshments.
