Consultation on qualification requirements for managers of care at home services

The SSSC will start registering managers of a care at home services from December 2010 and will consult with the sector before publishing the qualifications criteria for these workers. The consultation on the qualifications criteria will begin on Monday 2 November 2009 ending Monday 18 January 2010.

A series of consultation events will provide an opportunity for you to give your views about the function of a care at home manager, the qualifications needed to carry out the work as well as comment on related issues. The events will be of particular interest to providers and managers of care at home services. The events are being held in November and December.
