The Scottish Government has now published the application form, equality monitoring form and guidance notes for the 2010 Voluntary Sector Development Fund (VSDF).

The purpose of the VSDF is to contribute to the costs associated with meeting the qualification criteria set by the SSSC for registration and to assist employers in achieving a qualified workforce.

This year the fund will support:

• managers of care home services for adults
• supervisors in care home services for adults
• practitioners in care home services for adults
• support workers in care home services for adults
• managers of adult day care services
• residential child care workers
• residential child care workers with supervisory responsibilities
• managers of residential child care services
• managers of housing support services
• care at home managers.

 

Applications must be returned to the Scottish Government by Friday 3 September 2010.
