Did you know that if you are studying for an Scottish Vocational Qualification (SVQ) which has been credit rated and levelled at or above level 7 on the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF) then you could qualify for ILA Scotland funding?
The learner must be over 16, resident in Scotland and have an income of less than £22,000 per year (or be on benefits). They must also be undertaking a part-time study course worth a minimum of 40 credits in the academic year, with an ILA Scotland registered provider.
You must be studying 40 SCQF credits or more in an academic year and be studying a part-time higher education course such as a Higher National Certificate (HNC), Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Degree. Eligible courses also include Professional Development Awards and Continuing Professional Development at SCQF level 7 and above. Other courses which must be delivered by an approved ILA Scotland learning provider, could be eligible for this funding, these include:
- Health and Social Care SVQ level 3 Children and Young People - SCQF level 7
- Health and Social Care SVQ level 3 Adults - SCQF level 7
- Health and Social Care SVQ level 4 Children and Young People - SCQF level 9
- Health and Social Care SVQ level 4 Adults - SCQF level 9
- Children's Care, Learning and Development SVQ level 4 - SCQF 8 and 9
- Leadership and Management for Care Services SVQ level 4 - SCQF 9 and 10
