Self-assessment tool to promote learning organisations

As part of progressing one of the key objectives of the SPLP (promote the development of a learning culture throughout the social services sector, including the development of regional learning networks), and as noted in the National Workforce Strategy Action Plan, the SPLP has identified a self-assessment tool.


The PLIG agreed a recommendation that the resource pack developed by the Social Care Institute of Excellence is a useful basis to promote learning organisations. A series of workshops held jointly with the ADSW Supporting Frontline Staff project was based on the cards within this resource pack.


Please get in touch with us (email SPLP Administrator) if you would like a hard copy of the pack sent to you, or you would like to discuss with a Project Officer the possibility of your organisation being part of a pilot study using the cards.
