Review of the Framework in Social Work Education

The Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) appointed Respect Training and Consultancy to impact assess the Framework for Social Work Education in Scotland 2003[1] (the Framework) in respect of disability equality, to establish genuine competence standards and to provide proposals for the revision of the document. The SSSC commissioned this project on behalf of the Scottish Government. It will include an impact assessment of both elements of the Framework the Scottish Requirements for Social Work Training and the Standards in Social Work Education (SiSWE).
