The latest edition of a Scottish Government newsletter to keep people updated on the implementation of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme is now available on their website.
In February 2011, the Scottish Government will introduce the new scheme to replace and improve upon the current disclosure arrangements for people who work with vulnerable groups.
The latest update includes:
- information about and links to additional training materials that have been published
- a countdown of activities planned prior to commencement of the PVG Scheme,
- an article that summarises the benefits of the PVG Scheme Record Update
- information from CRBS and Disclosure Scotland to help organisations prepare for February 2011 and beyond.
