Palliative Care in Dementia – Training for Trainers

Are you based in a care home, care at home setting or other community care setting working with people with dementia? Do you have skills in supporting others to learn? If so, you may be perfect for this training.
As a result of Scotland’s National Dementia Strategy and Promoting Excellence, SSSC and NHS Education Scotland (NES) are working in partnership with Alzheimer Scotland to extend the delivery of their Palliative Care in Dementia - Training for Trainers programme. This established programme has already been successfully delivered to trainers from NHS Scotland, Local Authority Social Work Departments, Care Home Providers and Specialist Palliative Care Teams. This is a further rollout of 75 places across social services and health before March 2012.
