I work at Kingsgate care home East Kilbride were i started four years ago and during that time i obtained my nvq 2 and 3 in Health and social care and 18 months ago i was put forward by my manager to undertake my svq 4 as part of a modern apprenticeship and this was done through Mi Technologies/skillseekers and Sqa.
I now have successfully obtained my award and i continue to deliver a high standard of care in the work place and i strive to provide a qaulity provision of care that is holistic and person centered so that my clients can lead a more fullfilling life.
Although im not even recognised in the workplace by so many or even respected i still try to care for my clients who deserve to be well cared for and all aspects of their health and social care be supported by me.
My clients are so important to me and they do mean everything to me and will always be there for them.
I have dedicated my life to working with my client group who have Dementia and will always continue to support ,reassure and protect them from any aspect of harm and abuse as they deserve so much more .
I am 44 years old and proud of what i have acheived in such a short space of time and ill continue to deliver a high standard of care throughout.
