We would like your views on the parts of the Register and qualification requirements for registration of Workers in Care at Home Services and on the function descriptors for Workers in Housing Support services.
The consultation document provides information about the consultation and details of how to respond. We are keen to hear views and have responses to the proposals and questions posed in the document.
A SlideCast presentation is also available and sets the context for the consultation, explains key concepts and outlines each of the proposals. It provides people with information that will assist them to consider and respond to the proposals.
You can use the comments box below to pose questions regarding the consultation to our Education and Workforce Development Advisers. We will publish answers to any frequently asked questions as the consultation progresses and update these weekly. There will also be a web video in which Linda Barr, Education and Workforce Development Adviser, will answer a selection of these questions.
On Wednesday 27 July we will hold a Webinar (web-based/online seminar) from 2pm to 3pm to give you the chance to discuss and share views on the consultation questions as well as comment on any key issues. You can join in the Webinar while sitting at your desk. All you need is access to your computer and the internet speakers to hear the presentation. To register interest in the webinar and receive information on how to join or to receive hard copies of the consultation document please contact Caroline Gowans at caroline.gowans@sssc.uk.com or on 01382 207234.
