The objectives of the task force are shared across the UK and the report highlights key issues for social work in England today.

Consultation on qualification requirements for managers of care at home services

The SSSC will start registering managers of a care at home services from December 2010 and will consult with the sector before publishing the qualifications criteria for these workers. The consultation on the qualifications criteria will begin on Monday 2 November 2009 ending Monday 18 January 2010.
