New research which investigated what happens when older people are given the opportunity to shape service commissioning and delivery is now available.
The Scottish Government wants to make sure that people working in the social services sector get the recognition they deserve – including in the UK Honours system. The sector’s been notoriously under-represented when it comes to OBEs, CBEs and other honours and we want to change that.
The SSSC and the General Teaching Council for Scotland (GTCS) have launched an innovative new guidance kit to help disabled social work and teaching students to achieve their full potential. The guidance helps lecturers, tutors and others involved with students to provide vital learning support.
