The Scottish Government has now published the application form, guidance and equality monitoring form for the 2009 to 2010 Voluntary Sector Development Fund (VSDF).

The purpose of the VSDF is to contribute to the costs associated with meeting the qualification criteria set by the SSSC for registration and to assist employers in achieving a qualified workforce.

The fund will support:

• support workers in care home services for adults
• practitioners in care home services for adults
• supervisors in care homes for adults
• managers of housing support services.

Applications must be returned to the Scottish Government by 4 September 2009.
