The conference organised by NHS Education for Scotland (NES) will provide an opportunity to engage with evidence from recent NES projects examining how the provision of person-centred spiritual care and the education of staff in spiritual care delivery can:

  • enhance patient well being and experience
  • contribute to practitioner vocational fulfilment and the quality of service delivery
  • inform care options that provide less costly alternatives to medical intervention and prescribing.

Strategists, managers, educators and practitioners in health, and social and voluntary services involved in primary, acute and palliative care.
