SSSC news is a quarterly magazine published by the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).  The free magazine is sent to over 55,000 social service organisations, SSSC registrants and social service workers.SSSCNewsSpring2011-MagazineStack-400

SSSC news is an excellent way to receive useful information about the work of the SSSC including updates on registration, events, workforce development.  It also includes useful updates about the social services sector.

The readers of SSSC news include:

  • social service employers
  • social service workers (including workers in early years, older people, adults and young people services)

  • human resource contacts
  • education providers
  • universities and colleges
  • students
  • health organisations
  • members of the public
  • and other interested organisations.

We want to hear from you

The articles in SSSC news are usually written by SSSC staff.  We do include articles and opinion pieces from external people and organisations.  We would love to hear your views and comments.  If you have an idea for an article, want to submit an article or an opinion piece please contact Vanessa Glenday at: vanessa.glenday@sssc.uk.com

Articles should be no more than 400 words and may be edited for consistency with our house style and for readability.
