Valuing diversity in the 21st Century social services workforce: putting equality and diversity into practice

This year's annual conference will focus on equality and diversity in Scotland's social services sector.


The conference will explore a variety of areas within this theme including equal opportunities within the care sector, the role education and training can play in creating equality of opportunity in Scotland, how to encourage people from under-represented groups to choose careers in social services and ways in which service users and carers can be involved in the development of the social service workforce.

Policy makers, senior managers, front line staff, voluntary organisations, education and training providers, carers, users of services and delegates will have the opportunity to network, sharing ideas and best practice.
