Six new case studies to support the assessment of practice learning for social work degree students
Six new case study learning materials are now available to support the assessment of practice learning within the Standards in Social Work Education (SiSWE) against levels 9 and 10 of the Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework (SCQF).
Recent research highlighted inconsistencies in the SiSWE student practice learning opportunities for students on the degree in social work programme. Six case studies are now available to make sure all those involved in social work education and practice learning opportunities have a clearer common understanding about the changing expectations of practice learning as student's progress through the programme.
The materials have a range of possible uses in both agencies and Universities including student learning and assessment, preparation for practice and in supporting the learning of practice educators. Download
