The Care Accolades is the 'Oscars' for the social services sector in Scotland and is Scotland's only national care sector awards.

Now in its ninth year, the Care Accolades are now recognised as a mark of excellence for any organisation or team that provides services for vulnerable people in Scotland.

The Care Accolades is open to all social service organisations across all sectors in Scotland. Whether you work with children or adults, in a criminal justice social work service, for a local authority, a charity, voluntary or private sector organisation, you can put forward examples of excellent and innovative work for the Accolades.

Previous winners include two social workers who travelled, on foot, through the deep snow and blizzards to feed and take care of a lady in her 90s. It is this type of professionalism and dedication that the Care Accolades seek to highlight.
