About the Care Accolades
The Care Accolades was launched in 2004 to celebrate and promote good practice and workforce development in social services. Winning an Accolade gives organisations, teams or projects recognition of your achievement and allows you to share best practice with other organisations.
Who can enter?
The Care Accolades is open to all social service organisations across all sectors in Scotland. Whether you work with children or adults, in a criminal justice social work service, for a local authority, a charity, voluntary or private sector organisation, you can put forward examples of excellent and innovative work for the Accolades.
Why enter?
There are many great reasons for entering for an Accolade:

- sense of value and pride and increase in staff morale

- demonstrate excellence in learning and development in organisations
- recognise improvement in the outcomes for people who use services

When?
The Care Accolades afternoon tea and award ceremony will be held on Friday 22 June 2012 at Perth Concert Hall.
