  • anything that could call into question your suitability to be on the register, for example a criminal conviction or a disciplinary matter.

Your employer has a duty under the Codes of Practice to inform the SSSC of anything that could call into question a worker's suitability to be on the register. The SSSC can investigate allegations of misconduct by registered social service workers.

As a registered worker, you are obliged to inform the SSSC about any changes to the information we hold about you. This will help us make sure that we keep the Register up to date.

Please inform the SSSC of a change to your circumstances by telephoning: 0845 60 30 891, selecting option 1, or emailing: registration@sssc.uk.com.
