Workers in care home services for adults - Post Registration Training and Learning

PRTL diagramThe Post Registration Training and Learning requirements are set down by the SSSC's (Registration) Rules. These state the training and learning requirements that all registered workers in care home services for adults must meet in order to ensure their continued suitability for registration.

 

All registered workers are required to undertake the same amount of PRTL regardless of the number of hours worked (ie this means even if you work part time you still have to do the same amount of PRTL as a full time member of staff).

 

The PRTL requirements for workers in adult care home services are as follows:
