Renewal of registration for social workers
Every worker registered with the SSSC is required to renew their registration before their period of registration expires. The table below indicates the usual registration period applied to each worker.

Failure to pay your annual fee or failure to pay your renewal fee and/or submit your renewal documents may result in your registration being lapsed. You would then have to re-apply for registration.
Your renewal documents will be sent to you approximately 2 months before your renewal is due.
Around two months before a period of registration expires, the SSSC will write to the Registrant to advise them that they are required to renew their registration.
