The SSSC is in the process of finalising a procedure to assess the equivalency of international qualifications. Until this procedure is in place we cannot assess the equivalency of qualifications gained within the EEA.

If a worker agrees to undertake further qualifications which meet our criteria, they can be granted registration subject to the condition that they achieve the required qualifications within a specified period - normally their first three year period of registration provided they meet all the other eligibility criteria for registration eg evidence of ‘good character'.
