How to pay
There are various way to pay your fees but some methods are much faster and more secure than others.
Online - The quickest and most secure way to pay your application fee, renewal fee or annual fees is through MySSSC
Telephone – We accept debit and credit card payments by telephone. Call 0345 60 30 891, 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday. Please note, we are closed on Wednesday mornings for an hour from 9am-10am.
Please quote your unique application reference number printed on your form in the bottom left corner of each page (usually your National Insurance number).
Direct Debit - We recommend you choose this option to set up future direct debit details for payment of annual/renewal fees. The process of setting up a direct debit may mean that we do not receive your application as quick as other methods.
If you wish to pay your fees by Direct Debit, please choose the option Direct Debit when you complete your online application and download the Direct Debit Instruction so that you can send it to us.
Cheque/postal order - You can post a cheque or postal order to the Scottish Social Service Council, or call into the SSSC office in Dundee. Write your unique application reference number printed on your form in the bottom left corner of each page (usually your National Insurance number) on the back of your cheque or postal order.
