This skills set will also be applicable for staff transferring to work in this area of practice

List of Skill Areas & Knowledge
Staff should select and complete 3 units from the following list. Unit selection should be based on job role and candidate need.
HSC 27 Support individuals in their daily living
HSC 210 Support individuals to access and participate in recreational activities
HSC 212 Support individuals during therapy sessions
HSC 215 Help individuals to keep mobile
HSC 218 Support individuals with their personal care needs
HSC 223 Contribute to moving and handling individuals
HSC 227 Contribute to working in collaboration with carers in the caring role
HSC 235 Enable individuals to negotiate specific environments
SCQF Credit Rating & Level:
The SCQF levelling information will be added to this Skills Set when it becomes available.
