We all know that there are challenging times ahead and that we will need to be innovative to rise to challenges as they occur. We also know that effective leadership, results in the best delivery and performance for people who use services, their carers and all of us working in the social services sector. Developing leadership at all levels is vital if we are to find solutions to some of the challenges we encounter:
- Challenge current practice and thinking e.g. so why do we do it this way…
- Think differently and take some (intelligent) risks e.g. if I could change one thing it would be…
Step into Leadership – Dr Brian Howieson, University of Stirling
Ms Shirley Cairney, Inverclyde Council
This is an interactive session – we expect participation!
