Incremental review for the Health and Social Care and Children's Care, Learning and Development National Occupational Standards (NOS)
Skills for Care is currently working with its partner organisations in Skills for Care and Development and Skills for Health to review the National Occupational Standards (NOS) in Health and Social Care and Children's Care, Learning and Development.
The Incremental Review process is designed to ensure that National Occupational Standards (NOS) remain current and fit for purpose during the 5-year accreditation period.
The process for the Health and Social Care NOS has been identified as a ‘light touch’ review. As such, there will not be the opportunity for us to hold large consultation events. We have been collecting feedback on issues since the launch of the NOS, and these will be incorporated into the review.
A questionnaire is available to download below to support this review.
