Speeches and biographies from SSSC's annual conference - regulation and registration of the early education and childcare workforce

The SSSC's third annual conference took place at Edinburgh Conference Centre, Heriot-Watt University on Monday 8 November 2004.

Over 300 delegates attended the one day conference which focused on the regulation and registration of the early education and childcare workforce. Delegates were treated to a full programme of keynote addresses and participatory workshops. Among the speakers at the conference was Peter Peacock, Minister for Education and Young People and Professor Iram Siraj-Blatchford, Professor of Early Education, University of London.
