Modern Apprenticeships - Health & Social Care and Children's Care, Learning & Development
The SSSC, as Skills for Care & Development, manages the frameworks for Health & Social Care and Children's Care, Learning & Development (formerly Early Years Care & Education).
Modern Apprenticeships offer people aged over 16 the chance of paid employment linked with the opportunity to train for jobs at craft, technician and management level.
Recent changes
Up until 30 April 2008 SSAScot (now the Alliance of Sector Skills Council) managed the Health & Social Care and Children's Care, Learning & Development frameworks on behalf of Skills for Care & Development.
From 1 May 2008 the SSSC as Skills for Care & Development, manages the frameworks.
Please note:
- Mail sent to SSAScot regarding these two Modern Apprenticeships will be forwarded to the SSSC for a period but we recommend that you ensure that all mail regarding Modern Apprenticeships be directed to the SSSC from 25 April 2008 onwards.
- Existing invoices issued prior to 1 May 2008 should be paid to SSAScot (now the Alliance of Sector Skills Council) as stated on the invoice. Invoices issued from 1 May should be paid to the SSSC.
- Updated forms/documents in relation to the above MAs can be down loaded by clicking on the relevant document on the right hand side. If the document you require is not there please contact the SSSC.
