The Council

The Council is made up of a Convener and Council members, all of whom are appointed by Scottish Ministers through open competition. The membership reflects a wide range of interests in the field of social care, including service users, carers, those involved in service delivery, trade unions, professional bodies and those delivering education and training for the social service workforce.
